My wife has just burnt the last three bits of bacon in the apartment. It's taken me 10 minutes to get to the fire alarm and now my scrambled eggs, toast and beans are cold! Some crimes are hard to forgive! I'm sulking with a glass of Red (and chocolate) before we hit the beach. Real world problems here!

El T...it's too late to help you now, but I always keep a bag of vitamin C powder (ascorbic acid) in the house. First twinge of a cold and I take a couple of spoons mixed into water - it's really bitter so can neutralise the taste with a spoon of baking powder. If you catch it soon enough it stops whatever you were going to get. Forget lemsips and crap like that. Also, don't stray too far from the bog if you stake a heroic dose...it'll clear you out pronto.

Took daughter to Uni open day in Worcester and chanced upon Ducati Worcester... another uninspiring glassy job. Fancy enough place but the staff could barely be bothered enough to say hello and after a ten minute nose around (mostly looking at a PP and the new Panigale R) I sloped off... Decent couple of deals to be had on a 1260 PP (which I must admit was very nice) or a pretty much unused Enduro... 0% on 36 month HP on a Scrambler, otherwise it was a bit underwhelming. Same experience as Peterborough... the 1260 PP was a bit of kit though, food for thought there...
Looked a lot Audi... if you actually like Ducati and have done so for a while then unless you actually want to buy a bike or arrange a service I don't see why you'd go there. It's very contrived. I was quite excited when Peterborough opened, but that was a disappointment. So was this.
Had a busy day....gradually converting all the lights in the house to LED and doing the smartypants app thing also....bloody expensive stuff but its good gear though....spent the day doing mostly wiring.... My mate said earlier in the week "watch Hobbs and Shaw" its so bad its good - no....its just bad...in fact its fucking shit....
