  2. Every bauble is a dozen times each. They must all be spaced exactly the same distance from every other bauble. Don't tell me you don't do that.

  8. Good turn out for the Reading Toy Run today despite a brief but torrential down pour part way through the run. Pretty sure there were more bikes than last year which was around 1700. Good spectator turn out as well. Andy

  11. Drove back from Helensburgh. The weather was atrocious, and I mean atrocious all the way from there to just south of Carlisle when it not only stopped raining but cleared up quite nicely.

Though we had a great time with #1 son and wife and a wonderful time with the grandchildren it’s weekends like this where the weather is truly abysmal that I wonder why on Earth anyone would want to move up there. Baffling. Truly baffling.

  14. Carole's eldest's birthday on Tuesday so had a family meal tonight. Full roast rib of beef, gorgeously rare, with all the trimmings and jam rolly polly to finish. A King Cobra as an aperitif and a Grand Cru de Beaujolais, Fleurie with the meal. Now stuffed and more than a bit squiffy. Andy
