Just got back from a wasted work trip down to Basildon. 4 hours there, 2 on site (drinking coffee and having a laugh) and 3 1/2 hrs back home. Beer time.
Waiting in today for a replacement battery by UPS for the van,got fed up with jump starting it in the mornings so time for a new one.
I learned today that you shouldn't wrap Xmas presents after having a heavy session on the malt. Also, if anyone gets a remote control, I'm sorry, but I'm gonna need it back.
What is the hole in the Brass nut for? Note it has three of them. The seal on a flare is formed at the end of the nut and not the thread (as many plumbers think!). It's for expansion, to stop the nut from cracking. The nut can go from Ambient (say -10°C to +65°C) in a few milliseconds, if it has water ice on the outside of the nut..... it can break.
I've been using three motor factors within striking distance for thirty years and the odd occasion with HF's......but it's much easier with the sillyweb these days.
Just paid the corporation tax ..... electronically is only just a bit better than writing a cheque. I'm looking forward to my email showing how it is being used... or is that the next payment for my personal tax...
I didn't even get an acknowledgement that I paid last year - no letter either stating how much. I just had to go online and pay what my Accountant said. Same this year by the looks of it
Yes. That's how it is. You accountant files electronically, the tax office acknowledge receipt without confirming the calculations. It must be the personal one where you get the breakdown of where it is spent.
Dank & miserable day, matches my mood. Cuddle with lovely Lola to cheer myself up. Ned is well jealous.
Been for a hair cut, £8 blumin ek what an easy way to make a living, that'll be another ten years before I pay for another. Steve
