Or you can cook the meat in super hot pan until its a little brown on the outside for pies, or very brown for stew/ caserole (though afterwards add a little water to the pan and scrape the residue from the meat and add it to the stew).

Went into the office for an hour to deal with some bits. Then had a ride out to Ambleside to drop a card off at my cousins. Traffic was a nightmare around town but ok everywhere else. My cousin was out but her neighbour grassed me up saying a dodgy character was wandering around...dodgy? Was on a fookin' Ducati...bloody philistines.
I am. Kind of. On the good side of 60 still . Can’t sit around and do nothing so I work 2 days a week as a chef, my first love, (I’ve led a peripatetic life). Mon & Tues, 10-5 ish. A bit more in the summer when the tourists flock in. I enjoy it and get paid in bike & beer tokens . Then I have 2 days in my shed or on my bikes whilst SWMBO’s at work keeping her hand in and then we have 3 days together.
