About to watch on freesports channel the highlights of the latest round from austria, snowboarding world cup
Took kids t their Karate lesson, watched downhill skiing while waiting for my Duke to be delivered back to me. It had a sticking exhaust valve!. Tried the throw over panniers on it, they’ll be fun to fit properly!
A side effect of my brothers accident was that he contracted Shingles, this made him deaf in one ear and partially deaf in the other. ... nerve damage. The upside is he no longer suffers with the dizzy side of menieres
Dear Davebird, I start that addition in about 2 weeks time. that will be at the start of cycle 4 Chemo course which includes Velcade. I am doing quite well. NHS seems to think I am a suitable case for treatment and although my sleep pattern is completely shot I have now worries. I have now reviewed my motorcycling activities, I was born in 1948 and have been on the motorcycle scene since I was 16 years old. I prepared my machines mostly myself throught these past years. Many machines later I had recently began to find the bikes were getting heavier. The diagnosis of my Myaloma (sounds like a Tom Jones song) has influenced my change of machine, but I can only how life pans out on a weekly basis and how strong I am. The roads being so poor these days, and although being mostly a fair weather rider, at this time I cannot risk a fall, especially if I might land on my back. I am feeling confident of a good outcome from my treatment and I hope you are too, Best wishes,, David x
Hey fellow Myeloma fighter I’m 2 years post SCT It was a very tough journey getting here but I’m here yeahhhh. I spent yesterday putting a new tail unit complete with intergrated tail light and pipes on my 1098 !! I was going to moan about giving the 1098s a new bum and termignoni,s but ive nothing really to moan about !!!! Fair play @Davebird and @david wiggins positive mindset is so important, best of luck guy's
Thanks my friend. I have several medical and health issues for me to study at this time, my cardio-vascular problems seem to have reached a plateau with balanced medication. The Chemo treatment seem a doddle in comparisson. but the future plan is for Zometa to be added in order to stabilise my bone thinning. I have been fortunate in respect of few side effects from the treatment so far and not much severe pain. I have some discomfort at times when standing and walking after about 15 minutes. That partially interferes with mobility without mechanical assistance. I have some spinal wear (age and abuse?) showing as mild compression fracture L1 and endplate T11. If a surgical repair is done to me I shall have a new bum too? When the Chemo treatment allows me a little more energy I shall be able to have fun making a nuisance of myself but probably not on two wheeels. Perhaps 3.
Without you all here and my bins would have made this journey harder Just because I can I love you all

Just dragged this out - took the fairing sides off - ready to go to my mates for it's lil electrical glitch sorting, might as well get him to do the MOT while it's there in readiness for Spring
May I apologise in advance for any bad humour I may express at times. Its the seritonin supplements doing their job. It gets very silly in my home sometimes, I am also half deaf and some people say the most amusing mis-hear moments to me. Especially if I repeat what I think they have said, HaHa.
