I'd the Landrover M.O.T today with a pass but only 2097 total miles in twelve months driving,as the motorbikes ruled the roost last year.
Went to Leeds today with SWMBO. We took our daughter in law out for a lovely lunch then picked up the grandchildren from school. Which was nice
Painting going well, did the first coat of colour and then decided I couldn't be bothered to second coat so that'll do tomorrow after work, then woodwork over the weekend and room should be done. Hating it much less than I thought to be honest.
Got up at 4am today to get a 6.15 flight to Lisbon, a few days away and a chance to catch up with daughter no.2 who we didn’t see over Christmas/New Year. A beautiful city. Bloody knackered now though

This morning we had a heavy abort a landing at Heathrow.... 08:05 BA flight... Lisbon I think... **UPDATE... the local group of plane spotters say my flight identification is wrong** Need to have a look to see if it did any damage... at less than 150' those engines at full power shake the house like a snow globe. We are 11 seconds to touch down. The photo was taken just a few moments ago... and not the aircraft that aborted.

Possibly not, as it did a real low sweep around outside the M25 and was visible for several minutes. It didn't rejoin the stack. I saw it had BA livery and my flight tracker said from somewhere in spain. That aircraft track in the Express never got within 15 miles of Heathrow. However reports of flights suspended for an hour IS NOT TRUE.... planes have been landing every 40 seconds all bloody morning!
