One in three planes are aborting their landing over us today.... so wet, noisy and very windy... Also I'm still dying of man flu... cancelled Monday and Tuesday. ..
Employed Carole's, daughter's boyfriend and his mate to reclaim my garden. Despite the awful conditions, they earnt their money this weekend. As was before the first weekend As is today after the second weekend. Andy
One of my neighbours lost their trampoline over night, another lucky neighbour gained a trampoline over night, what a coincidence that was.
Since Storm Ciara started, Martin hasn't stopped looking through the window. If it gets any worse, I'm going to have to let him in.
What a spectacular day weatherwise with the wind blowing a hooley on the coastline, retraced my motorbike summer trips out this season, but this time with a heater & radio for company.
Ahhh the joys of “tinkering” I have missed you so....... Spent the morning in the garage fitting the TWM leavers my mate gave me for a bargain price, (ones a little scuffed and bent on the end so I cleaned it up and sprayed over it, daren’t try to bend it back) Due to the adjusters had to move the Bark Busters down a touch, hopefully they will still do their job where they are. And so I’ll probably have some unknown origin short levers available soon, although they have Ducati written on them so they must be Ducati performance upgrades right?
I'm new on here, posted on newbie section earlier. I'm off to view and buy a 998 Biposto tomoz morning
I'd get those trees cut back, so they grow more vertical.... You'll never get the grass to grow underneath. I've a +100 year old Eucalyptus that we are going to have to cut right back, as it's starting to go over. Arborist has been employed, but not yet been around to do the work.... hope I'm not too late with this storm.
Two of the last three have aborted landing..... I've got rolls of copper pipe falling off shelves.... time for a claim I think!
