Went bouldering first thing and got home to my 2019 DOC goodies (yes 2019!!) and my new X-Lite 803 Ultra Carbon helmet and dark visor. Late this afternoon I delivered the standard exhaust from my (ex) Diavel so that the new owner has everything when he gets the bike Wednesday morning. Tomorrow my V2 is being stickered up with what I want, hopefully the end cap for the can will be in too so it can be fitted prior to delivery on Wednesday. Getting a tad excited now
basically our company has been very busy with a few clients for a good few years so hasn't really pursued other work, unfortunately my bosses are money grabbing cunts and their clients have recently realised this and are now shopping around. 4 projects that were in the bag are now being recosted and even if we win em, they wont start as scheduled. for my sins im the highest paid worker they have (for good reason!) and without the high end work im to expensive for em.... tbh i was to be let go before christmas but one of the other foreman fucked up so i took over his site and he got the tictac...
i dont think i could ever be a chef but i did have a bbq business for a bit and would love to do a food truck or burger bar... thanks though dude, this time of year is always a bit crap in the building game. i WILL survive!
cheers mate... its just the worst time of year to be job hunting in my game... you get the piss taken out of ya... but i will live.. bikes will suffer though.. i work for bike money, food and wine is a bonus....
