Another foray in to the 21st century for me today. My Pioneer plasma HD ready TV has provided sterling service for what seems like forever but it’s time for something a bit more up to date. I’ve been searching the internet ad nauseam and visiting various out of town mega outlets to look at what the internet is saying is the mutt’s nuts and finally made the decision earlier this week and collected my new TV last Friday. I don’t remember the Pioneer being quite that heavy but it’s off the wall, all the wall mount frame work has been swapped over to the new TV and it’s up on the wall. I know the shops display the TVs using technology that drives the electronics to give the absolute best picture that you can never replicate with a UHF, chimney mounted aerial but switch on was a genuine OMG moment, the picture quality is astonishing. I can highly recommend the Samsung QE55Q950R 8K Ultra HD TV especially if you can pick it up with the £1500 discount I was given. Got money to put towards upgrading my ageing Yamaha DSP amplifier and a streaming subscription now Andy

 

never order food when you are hungry... i done an online shop at tescos last night and now its turned up i dont have enough room in the freezer for it all... i have just eaten half a litre of ice cream and am now tring to fry 18 fish fingers... they dont fry as good as they grill....*(my grill is not working)

im all about the bbq dude but i dont think fish fingers lend themselves to that sort of treatment... tbh they have been in the freezer for over a year so i won't be too upset if they don't work out.. that said, i have my strawberry set on a fish finger buttie now...

 

mmm... 9 fish fingers in a heavily buttered cheesy bap smothered in bulls eye bbq sauce.... just when life if getting you down, comfort food to the rescue!!!! i have another half litre of ice cream to eat (cant fit it in the freezer) then im done for an hour or 2.....

i used to have chips with ice cream when i was a kid ( my mum was quite the gourmet) but im not sure fish fingers and raspberry ripple go together.... i will give it a bash though!

 

Nonsense, that's the 2nd best combination after chocolate chip and calamari rings.

Took my daughters dog for a walk then taxed my Monster 1200 R and went for a run to Forres. Still chilly up here but dry.
