  1. Took a trip to check on my mam and dad and spiced the spin up with the 1299 ! Nice dry day for a change !! Looks like the weather is finally changing just as we might be forced to take time off :p

  2. Removed a little raised bed planter thing and discovered these pincers buried in the soil. They aren't mine so must have been there at least 10 years. A warning as to what your Ducati will look like if it gets muddy :D

Belts on this morning, and lazed around for rest of day, get the filters and oil changed during the evenings this coming week and good to go for a few more miles.

  4. Tried to get out on the V2 twice but gave up after it rained twice after I'd got my leathers on.

Decided to tidy up my Bike Tidy instead and get shot of stuff I've never used or don't need any longer.

Then watched several episodes of Reeves and Mortimer, Inside no9, and 8 out of 10 cats does Countdown :)

  8. Nipped over to Cadwell to watch a friend on his first ride out on his R1 track bike.

Arrived to see the Ambucopter taking off - apparently a rider on wets decided to ride through a puddle on the start finish straight to cool them off and it spat him off. Didn’t look good.

Seemed to be a fair few racers around on their first outing of the year.

This was a nice guy from Ireland on his first time out on his Trioptions V2 - race fairing not even arrived yet so taking it very steady for obvious reasons!

  11. Looks like one massive acid trip to me.

Not sure if that was an actual Beatles song but it I think it’s use may have played a part.

  12. It turned into a fine day this afternoon so SWMBO and I went for a walk on the beach. We then took a little drive and found a pub with no-one except the owner in it. Oh joy, oh joy, I can have a pint and maintain my social distancing:):upyeah:. The TV was on and the news flash came up - ‘All pubs to close from midnight:eek:’. WTF:eek::eek:. This could be my last pint for several months so I had to take a picture for posterity:confused:.

  13. Just pondering what would happen if supermarkets close. Presumably we'd have to go foraging and hunting, and that could cause a problem, as I've no idea where Doritos grow.

  16. Where is that beach Paul? I vaguely remember visiting house down your way and that looks familiar.

  17. I have been requested by SWMBO not to go climbing today “just in case”:mask:

I’m therefore going to make the most of the dry roads and sunshine and will self isolate on my V2 for most of the day :upyeah:

I shall be doing the same tomorrow :)

  18. Do you use an indoor wall, such dilemmas for you, should I enjoy a climbing day or a riding day tough asks.

  19. Indoor wall. I’m sure it’d be fine but she’s been suckered with all this hype too.

Still.....I get to play out on the V2, so alls well with the world :)

  20. Physio in an hour which will probably be my last for this particular injury and I have to say, whilst it’s been hard, the exercises have made a positive improvement in the mobility of the whole shoulder, still aches like buggery though :D Decided to fine tune a couple of bits on the V4, still hoping Almeria will be open by the middle of May and finally getting my arse in gear to get the 748R back in road trim so a trip to MR after physio.
