SWMBO and I have been trying to avoid all social interactions outside of our home for 5 days now and been in what amounts to self isolation. Tonight we almost killed each other. F**k, we’re not even fully locked down yet and have got months of this to get through. If CV doesn’t kill me SWMBO will.
I went to work today expecting to be told to work from home - all my work is computer based CAD viewing and Video Conferencing with the customer so no issues doing so. I am in the office tomorrow and Thursday they want us to do 1 week from home, then 1 week in the office with 50% staff cover in attendance across all rolls. I'm the only one who does my job I'm rotating myself
That’s crazy, if someone can work from home and do their job just as well they should, they have a duty of care to employees. However, I could write an essay on why many companies don’t permit this

Woke up this morning, went to have a shower, no water. A few checks later and it turns out the water pump that feeds the house is kaput, FFS I only put that in 10 years ago. Now I have to find a plumber's merchant that's open and has something stock. TTFN
