So today to alleviate the boredom I decided I'd play my 1960's Monkee LPs as I'd not listened to them in a while. After a couple of hours SWMBO came in and said that if I played any of those feckin' LPs again she was going to throw them in the bin. At first I didn't believe her...................and then I saw her face.
A week of 12 hour plus days (IT support) trying to get users out the door and working from home....start of the week was more manic than ive ever seen in 20 odd years of being in IT - a literal free for all...got to today, a bit more sedate, scheduling in users to come in and pick up their kit....however right at the end of the day 3 turned up together so had to kinda keep them all apart then rush through setting all their shit up... Silver lining though...in the middle of the day all the powder coating for the zed was finished so i went out and got that....so, now on lockdown, with a half stripped z1000 and a load of refurbished freshly powder coated bits (swing arm and a load of other stuff) - awesome.... People are moaning about being stuck in for 2 - 3 weeks....fucking no problem here...loads of stuff to do at home...
Yeah - same here....get the zed back together on the weekend (saturday) - got some more lighting wiring to do (convert from 12v to LED) with some smarty pants switching (sunday) - next weekend once the zed is back together gotta start on the 400 4 - (frame and swingarm is at the powder coaters now) ill ave to update the build thread..so have to sort all the bits out and make a start stripping the forks. Weekend after...sort the cars out and give them a good clean and jetwash underneath....tons to do..!

Apparently our brains can't tell the difference between video or real contact and we are keeping Nana and Grandma sane but doing regular calls. Just need to get Skype on Grandma's tablet, as the camera is terrible on her old smartphone.
Decided the 'world' that is my village has gone collectively mad. There is a queue of people waiting for 1 out, 1 in at the local Sainsbury's that I estimate to 400 yards long snaking around the car park. Not individuals, couples and families (man, woman and child/children) which makes no sense. 40 people waiting to get in to the local Co-OP, 70 to 80 people queuing outside the dispensary and you get to the local Tesco's, no queue, 10 or 15 people shopping and I hear a member of the staff say 'I think we better stop people coming in'. For the record, I need to collect my next month's supply of life preserving medication and I have no bread or milk. And for the record, I didn't get my medication and I didn't get bread or milk because Tesco didn't have any. Andy
One less than perfect wheel off, One much nicer wheel on, Replacement wheel has been to TPCS for a nice new coat of paint, sprocket mounting plate powder coated locally and new bearings, oil seals and cush rubbers fitted. The Renthal sprocket on the old wheel is well worn but I managed to salvage a pretty reasonable OE 530/48 sprocket. Just need to find a spare 5EB R6 front wheel to refurbish to do the same to the front end. Andy

Cleaned off 2 of me pusho’s ready for tomorrow morning cycle ride with the lad, changed fork seals on my r1150. Currently charging it’s battery I think it’s fubared I’ll check it tomorrow.
Started up the 2-stroke today for the first time this year. Not been used for at least 8 months, a couple of attempts and she fires up, even on old fuel. Then I put her to use pruning a ginormous rhododrendon At least the stream is visible now when you drive in; they're great these Husqvarna's
