  4. This evening I watched Snatch (the film, not SWMBO's............yet). :upyeah:

  5. Took my recently purchased Mutley for its first real try out on a300 mile round trip of lower Scotland, Northumbria, and Cumbria. Love the bike, bonded. But somehow seem to have scrubbed a load off the tyres

  6. I've changed several of Grace Ellen's nappy's several times, including some nuclear ones, fed her, cut the grass, washed both cars, painted the fence, licked the roof tiles clean and generally sweated my bill hooks off all day.

i think I've been stitched up.

its my first Father's Day as a father.

she who might be obeyed told me it meant I had to do all the tasks all day.

Still- worth it for the smiles from little grace Ellen.

happy Father's Day, for those that enjoyed it!!

  7. replaced coolant...
...next weekend - new belts please

  8. Travelled back from Sochi (14 hours) in SE Russia after 2.1/2 weeks working over there and boy is it good to be back in civilisation again:smile:

  9. I had a fab day yesterday.
Late continental breakfast of bread, croissants and coffee outside in the sun, then watched Moto2 and MotoGP in the gloom.
Practiced the guitar, went outside to read my Google Adwords book in the sun.
Then cycled about 40 mins to the swimming pool, swam a mile, cycled 50 mins back (it's more uphill). Admired sleepy villages, great houses and gardens, flowers, trees, animals etc.
Hoovered the house, had a Pimms and then a salade niçoise and, feeling completely pooped, went to bed at the very uncharacteristically early time of 10:30.

Consequently woke up at the uncharacteristically early time of 6:30, so have been making the most of a brilliant morning. Going to be hot again today (and tomorrow) - >30°.

  11. 15C? Are you for real?

  12. Yes. And the use of artillery can be traced back as far as the 13th century. Hence why the RA and RE have 'unique' on their cap badge as they've been in every major conflict.
