Well first thing I went to B&Q to collect some "essential" bedding plants, compost and teak oil for the garden that I ordered online yesterday. It was classified as essential as otherwise SWMBO would kill me if I didn't get them for her. Anyway........I've now done the first coat of teak oil to 3 of the garden chairs, and SWMBO has planted up some tubs and some of the borders. It's starting to look half decent.
Not a lot, went and looked in the garage for a bit. Sat in the garden and started reading last month's bike magazine again. Just about to cook sausage and mash as the wife is working from home and I've done bugger all really.
Took the fairings of the bike and gave it a good clean, then planted a few rows of onions in the garden. Steve
I dug up the old lawn in preparation for the new turf tomorrow. I've just ordered a sprinkler to collect from B&Q as that will be essential once the turf is laid.
Went shopping to the supermarket with my wife but was told by the staff I’d have to wait in the car, coz that’s the way it is. Went to get essential wine from majestic wines, but they’ve closed to foot traffic. Came home made an international conference call, then back to decorating. Fun.
Swmbo likes little tiles, I only start to like them when they are on the wall and grouted lol, about half the bathroom done, removed old shower unit today, so best keep going, getting all services to upstairs bedroom too for en-suite, which will be more of the same small tiles.....
Cool, that takes a bit of attention on single track bendy roads lol, what chassis and engine is that based on?
Received my e-mail insurance renewal for two of the bikes for the road from Ramasis: 1098R Baylis and my '02 R1 = £224.00 Cheaper than last year so can't be arsed to shop around at that price
Just realised today how useful smart speakers are. "Alexa- How much are dead batteries?" "Dead batteries are free of charge"
