Painted inside cupboard doors , sprayed roses sourdough pizza for supper is next after I’ve had a sit down :£
Waited for the new battery to finish charging and finally got it outside where it was fired up for the first time in just over 6 years. Changed oil and filter so basically just got to put the fairings back on and it's ready to go. Still need to do the fork seals but haven't got the peg socket for the fork tops until I can get round to a mates house and borrow his one. Roll on escape from lockdown.
I've been bored mostly. Walked around the garden for 10 minutes then came indoors because its freezing, played my guitar for an hour, done some exercises and watched last night's Batwoman. That's it. Boring.
Another day, more work on the cars. Thought I'd stick a few up of the Jag since there was some interest! Swapped out some horrible interior trim from the M3, stripped the seats out and gave them a good scrub, clean and plenty of conditioner so they have come up really good. Then gave it another coat of wax. The Jag just got a quick scrub and the interior done, will give it a polish and wax next weekend for something to do. Bloody love them both, the purple looks amazing in the sun. 1 of about 15 in the country so pretty rare.
Once your Mrs has found out you’ve used her transportation device you’re finished bud, best get a head start while ya can.
Went for a walk down by the river this morning, flew a kite for the first time in forty years and really enjoyed it, made a full english, walked the dog, read the paper, very pleasant.
I’m going to use the SS this year so time for a service and the obligatory new battery. I’d forgotten how simple and light these bikes are, just a pleasure to work on tbh.
Any pictures of the Batwoman you’re wanting to try, on account if you don’t succeed I might try or if you do sloppy seconds could be mine.
