  1. Well at 7.30am I was out putting on the first coat of teak oil to the last 2 garden chairs, so I can finally finish the bloody things early this afternoon. Hurrah!

I've also done some weeding in the garden. This afternoon I will be finishing off the chairs then at 3.30pm I am giving my grandsons up in Scotland an Italian lesson.

It's all go here in El Toro Towers ;)

  3. As I’m stuck in Kuwait locked in the staff house indefinitely I’ve spent most my time on the forum looking at Pani R’s then on eBay looking at Pani R’s.

  5. Just back from getting my 1098 MoT'd, all good of course.
My normal testing station closed up a couple of weeks back so I went up to where I have my cars done which happens to be very nearly a 60 mile round trip which was nice after 6 years of not riding the bike, and a little sweetener to the whole thing was that I got charged just £20 which is enough of a saving to nearly cover the fuel costs to go there.

  6. I've just borrowed a lawn scarifier from next door. Just thought I'd do one line up the back lawn to try it, before doing the job tomorrow.

With one line I've managed to fill a black bin bag already

  9. I thought MOT stations were closed in the UK at present?

  10. I think most of them are but not all. This is the only one I am aware of anywhere near me, I've used them for quite a few years for cars as I get "trade" price through my brother in law who uses them several times a week and my sister used to do their books. First time I've taken a bike there as I have local one 5 mins away but they have closed up until things improve.

  15. It certainly did, although emptying it was far more work, especially for someone with a bad back and on their own.
