Failed again to buy gas for the bbq ... Primed the crank cases and got cracking on the tank for the CR .... put the correct 2 direction brushed aluminium finish ,then a couple of coats of clear . I’ll paint the stripes in a week or so It’s gonna look too nice for a race bike if I keep this up ..

Swapped out the rear drums and Removed the fuel tank in readiness for a 2” narrowed beam with dropped spindles on the front of my 71 Ghia. taken the old empi’s off and swapped for Porsche Fuch’s copies.

Washed the van, went to the garage to start the journey to a more pleasant ride when empty ie extending shocks or going back to standard leaf spring from double, collected a mattress from Burley In Wharfedale that I’m delivering to battersea tomorrow after Sheffield, Watford and before Tonbridge, Bexhill-On-Sea, tenderdon, Southampton, Milton Keynes, ripley, back to Sheffield then Leeds. Early night and sleeping in a van at some point tomorrow’s me thinks
