So what have you done today..?

  1. HAHA, you're still getting up early, that happens as you get older, I can't get past daylight in the mornings, especially in the summer, I noticed your post was before 6am, my wife wears an eye mask, she sleeps in longer than me and doesn't have to look at me first thing.
    Good sleep is so important.

  2. It is, I agree. And I have to say that although I am getting 6-7 hours now on average that is way better (2-3 hours more each night) than when I was working.

Picked up some spare panels and tank for the Tricolore. All original with no accident damage/repairs, just a couple of small stone chips which will touch in without too much trouble. No cap or pump with the tank but can't have everything apparently.

  10. I don't exactly know who needs to hear this, but you don't need to order anything off Amazon this weekend.....

  11. Squatting out at Gatwick airport at the minute.;)

  12. Headed off to Southampton General Hospital to give blood - 85th pint and a bit weird with all the staff wearing masks but had to be done :)

  15. Today we will be having a Zoom based family quiz. It’s my turn to be quizmaster.

  16. Well he would be wouldn’t he. It isn’t just dead, rigor mortis has set in. You can’t sell a house when you can’t do viewings.

It’ll bounce back, it always does. There’s so much pent up demand after Brexit, the market was just picking up then The China Syndrome stopped it.

  17. It will of course in time, but whether he’ll be able to ride the storm is another matter.

Incidentally his agency has been using “virtual viewing platforms” for several years now so getting viewings hasn’t been the problem. I guess it’ll be whether people will want to move or whether they’ll batten down the hatches and stay where they are that’s the problem.

  18. I think this will prompt a lot of people to decide to do what they really want to do. Work wise, or retiring or moving to an area they like better. Life may be even shorter than we thought.

On another tack, if it hadn’t been for The China Syndrome and lockdown I’d have been at the Motogp in Jerez this weekend with Bazza.

And they haven’t refunded us for the tickets. Hotel has, Brittany ferries issued a 2 year credit, which is fine
but Motogp .... not so good so far. We’ll see.

  19. Same here for Catalunya. Argument so far is the race is postponed so your ticket is still valid. Got Silverstone in August as well to deal with. Hotel in Barcelona terms and conditions state 100% cancellation fee even though the Spanish government has shut all but a few ‘essential’ hotels for those people caught by the lock down. Andy
