  2. I'd message him,but a little rich on the other bikes for me,so keeping the money for something else now.

  3. Watched my neighbour have the concrete for their new 6x4m shed / outbuilding / Swiss chalet being delivered - I swear they could launch a rocket from the base they have constructed! It is over the root protection area of an oak tree so they had to do the fancy raised grid thingy! It has been quite entertaining watching the family do all the ground work!
I'm not just a nosey neighbour though as we did take their dog for a walk :)

  5. My amazing deal of a set of Nix 30 forks for the RSV4 just got holed below the waterline....300 quid import duty....my mate works for HM Customs and said that normally they wouldnt have really looked at it but, as literally all air traffic is grounded theres a lot of customs people sitting around doing nothing so theyre going through everything....bloke that i bought them from put down X amount - normally that would have been looked at by customs then they apply the usual to that amount...this time, they wanted proof of the transaction and photocopies of my statement....what a bunch of cunts....

Anyway - on the upside ive got a set of nix forks (old ohlins will be going back on ebay to offset the bulk of the cost) - anyone need a set of ex rsv4 ohlins forks..?!

  6. Poo :poop: :(

Luckily my BST swing arm arrived from Australia, pre grounding. ;)

  7. Fuck - youll be paying for that...if you get the treatment i got youll get some forms through the post to fill out then itll be another week...

  10. Had to go to pick he local Asda for some “essential” items.

I found a trolley with £1 still in it. I was over the moon with that. :) I spent £58 on “essential” items, so can’t work out if I’m having a good day or not.

  11. For the masses, could you confirm that ‘Jobs’ isn’t your manservant?

  13. Yeah the CRs are getting pricey ... try and get an MT now , these like all twinshock two strokes are just going up and up , but still reasonable at the moment . I could have sold the MT 4 times and I didn’t even advertise it .

Back to today’s adventures , as expected CR#2 didn’t stay red for long .. just need to paint the tank stripes ( if I decide to ) swap the tyres (going with some road legal enduro tyres so I can potter to the shops on it ) , get another number plate and it’s done .. check out my ‘audible sound of approach ‘

Doesn’t it look better ... and more expensive , in silver

    I’ve added a pic of the bike as I bought it .. very much a project and cost around B1788A97-F9F2-4FDF-9D08-551E97C4C320.jpeg 5EFD4A59-3385-44B5-9522-E5CCBF832EB9.jpeg 89647A95-DAED-4C7B-A0D7-8F642DEACA7B.jpeg B188608D-32B8-4B98-B082-477C3B1E3074.jpeg 2k
