  2. Chainsawed a load of logs with one son then we spilt them into quarters with an axe, after which we burned a few so my other son could fry bacon and sausages for our lunch.

Then sat down in front of my MacBook to fight for justice, taste and decency on behalf of a number of my clients. Soon off to do battle in a similar vein with Pets at Home to seek a refund for a travel crate which my bonkers dog has destroyed in a matter of weeks.

After that - more foraging for firewood to lay down for winter.

  6. Tbf, he’s a city boy through and through (more worried about putting the axe through his Air Forces than the feet inside them) and it was a first attempt, but I gave him pretty much the same advice and he quickly got the hang of it. :upyeah:

  7. well, my wife is now upstairs getting her hair in place, make-up and perfume on, and smart clothes change.

15 minutes to go and she'll be outside clapping with the neighbours

  10. Planning to have them re plated to try and keep everything as original as I can. I've cleaned them all up and hopefully drop them in to the platers next week, then finish polishing up the rim and fit new bearings to the hub, coat of paint then it's rebuild time which should be interesting. Never laced and trued a wheel before.

Was in Kincardine collecting a scooter at a bit after 7am then went to south Glasgow to collect two lengths of big cable from Scottish power, took the scooter to Ayr to swap for another scooter, then went near Robbie burns birthplace in Ayr to collect a bench seat for a transit (65kg like what?)
Then went to Kilmarnock to collect a tree cutting ladder, then went to Galashiels area to deliver bench seat, then went to Stockton-on-Tees to collect another scooter, then Scarborough to deliver cable then went Bridlington to deliver the Ayr scooter then went York to deliver the Stockton-on-Tees scooter

Now in Leeds drinking Guinness but still got to take the tree cutting ladder to Morley (Leeds) but he said no rush thank god....not done a lot else really
