Out in the 748r around Oxfordshire. What a fantastic bike it is. Just lovely. Saw a 1970’s 900ss heading into Marlow as I was going the other way. He was in a traffic queue and we only spotted each other as we were adjacent. Pretty cool. Then home to prep potato curry to go with tonight’s BBQ. Then heard sirens. 4 doors up on fire, or at least their garage was. 2 fire engines rock up and sort it PDQ. Phew. Time for a beer.
Excavator and 3 ton Dumper driver today,it was quite tricky with the tight space available, but not a problem for me.now building up for a little blast later on any motorcycle.
Those 3 Tonne dumpers are horrible things. Just make sure you keep it the right way up and out of the holes!
Great for moving muck on site, but bloody slow & a bumpy ride and yes i've lost one in very large hole many moons ago.
They don’t - but the stalk is booby trapped to weed out drivers that don’t conform to the ‘brand image’
So is my maths correct that at 0.05 amps it would take 200 hours to completely drain a 10ah battery? It’s not my area so just interested if my thinking is right.
Rode the Triumph to Minehead , Porlock and Lynemouth , stunning views across Exmoor and weather was perfect for riding , did about 180 miles .
Dropped into at BSD in Peterborough to book my 1098 in for a few tweeks on the ecu after fitting the 70mm exhaust, got to wait 2 weeks as I can only get there on a Saturday.
Assaulted hardknott and wrynose passes on the Tuono to scrub in a new back tyre Then continued to Honister, Kirkstone, and Hartside passes.
