First in the Queue at the local garden centre.... That's two hours I'm not getting back, but at least SWMBO is happy.... unlike my back.
Virgin Holidays Received some of our money back today, just £700 outstanding. Hopefully we should receive that back in a few days, as it was originally paid a different route. Also Virgin have offered £350 in compensation for the way the whole refund issue has been handled. Holiday Voucher Virgin Holidays was/is trying to push clients down the voucher route plus 4000 Virgin Miles*. On the holiday forums many people who went this route are complaining that the exact same holiday dates / hotels 12 months later are nearly twice as expensive. e.g. Family to Cuba for 2 weeks was £4912, same holiday in 2021 over £9000..... Sorry people I don't think there are going to be many bargains in 2021 for holidays, even if you do have cash. *I don't think these are worth much, we've got about 150,000 and every time I try to use them to buy a ticket/upgrade it ends up more than paying cash?
Bike had its first service. Surprisingly busy with 5 of us waiting outside and 1 bike being test riden.
