  6. Read the other day that where there would usually have been x tens of thousands of folks travelling through LGW on an average day, there were just 24 people one day earlier this week. Must be a tad weird!

  7. Booked our yearly sea fishing trip from Poole for end of month - he’ll only take 5 passengers but that’s all we need - be interesting to see if there’s more fishies in the sea after having a rest from us lot :(

  14. So If Biscuits are cookies... Then you dont get any of these?

PS, dont even go there with Scones... They are like bricks! Not the soft fluffy warm love these contain... If you are quiet you can here them say.... "Please Butter me"

  15. What do you think about snakes then, will it be a problem painting them on the side of your house?

  16. Yep, they're scones (or skones) however one pronounces it and yes they should be warm and fluffy, which, if they've been made properly and are fresh they will be, they become the hard brick like thing when mass produced and/or when more than 18hrs old. HTH. :upyeah:

  17. These are the one US unique culinary institution I cannot get my head round. Why do you eat these swimming in what you call ‘gravy’ but to me, is a white sauce ? Blah. Andy

  18. We had biscuits for breakfast when we stayed with my Great uncle in Tupelo Mississippi , my daughter's loved them , they reminded me of a savoury scone .

  19. Popped round to a local farmer for a price on the removal from site a very large tree stump, cleaned the porch tiles on another property.
