Visited a quarry today to fix some aircon. It's a lovely hot day, so we followed the site one way system... bit scary with loads of huge diggers and lorries. Numerous weigh bridges and control gates..... little did we know they had an automatic lorry wash station..... Bit of a shock ...in a van with the windows down . It has CCTV, I'm going to ask if they kept a copy.
Pani is in for a service & tomorrow so dropped it off this afternoon. They let me have a V2 to play on today, dropping off tomorrow afternoon. Quite like the V2..... but it would need a few things sorting (very snatchy throttle and clutch needed adjusting on this bike, fuelling and exhaust valve and a bit of bling) for me. it’s almost the perfect fast road bike and you can see why people are getting them for road and Trackday fun. Just popping down the shops to get the wife some flowers
Stick with me kid and i'll take you where no one else has been in millions of years. Finally the last muck away wagon this morning, thank christ, with in excess of a hundred loads removed from site. With a celebration rideout early/late afternnoon on the bike.
Just back from a ride out around the Wolds and a stop off at the old Viking village of Vertvanger for Chips. They did good duck ponds them Vikings. The house in the last picture was the home of TV presenter Richard Whitley (of ferret biting fame).
Just ordered an Oberon clutch slave cylinder - currently not doing a 40 miles a day commute so reckon I've saved enough in a month to justify buying it!
