Some have a large loose fitted o ring that tend to fall off if you're not careful so check if that's the case.

Picked up my lads guitar from being retro fitted with a whammy bar and having a re-string and set up. Put new Goodridge brake hoses on the R1150, hopefully improve the wooden braking feel. Fixed the kitchen cupboard door catch, went shopping for me Mom.
Sorted, cheers. It was just me being a knob, you turn the flap and lower it one way or the other, the correct way seals it, the way I turned it, doesn't. Duh. My excuse is I was in a rush to ride it. Wasted the rest of the day. Tomorrow I'll make up for it.
I'd two rides out today,one with mirrors and one without (another shake down on the 916),& not good for the neck muscles stretching around doing life savers every second.also popped into my local for a new speedo cable and had a chat with a V4 & Triumph owner which was nice.He just loves his V4. .....and this is why they call it a Kent peg tile.
