  2. May be joined by Carole’s daughter and her boyfriend when they find out :joy: but that’s okay, they are good company :upyeah: I do like my BBQ and always try to be creative and Carole is a dab hand at rustling up some interesting, eminently edible grub and I’ve just remembered, she has a huge crop of bird’s eye chillies ready to plunder :D Andy

  4. Sounds fun, but “Brand New” and “Morgan” seems to be something of an oxymoron?

  5. Absolutely brand new. Aluminium everything. The car weighs just 1000kg all in, and is a bit quick :upyeah:

He picked it up from the factory yesterday afternoon.

  6. But probably ordered it about 10 years ago :astonished:. What is the wait list these days?

  7. They have to let the trees grow for the chasis ?

  8. After embarrassing myself the other day after posting it had been 3 weeks since doing the first coat in Daughter no2's old bedroom  I am now determined to get it done and not leave it until the last minute, so today was all about painting, painting, painting:(. It still needs a third coat:confused:.

  9. He actually ordered it in February and they gave him a production slot for June. And like I said it was ready for him to collect yesterday.

  10. Wow:eek:, that was quick, I thought they still had a multi year wait list for those, good for him:upyeah:

  11. That Spitfire went over at least three times over the course of the day. Each time, loop the loop etc. Made me have a look on Google. I think it’s this twin seat affair that you can hire for a flight. £2750. I think that’s not bad value for a real once in a lifetime experience, obvs a shit load of money but, what an experience.

Gave 500 odd ml of plasma for the Covid antibodies. Half goes to some poor souls suffering from Covid-19, apparently it really can transform recovery. The other half goes to the vaccine research at Oxford. All good stuff.

For us it’s a milestone day, Mrs H has finished her Chemo today:grinning::grinning::grinning:. She’s done unbelievably well through the whole process.

We’re both well pleased but a little whacked.
Good result though. Happy days ahead.
