Nice brisk ride over to crossgates! Great weather,only marred by the peelers pulling lots of bikes over checking for loud exhausts! Pulled me and said”you’re bike is too loud”!! Looked a right twat when I told him it’s a stock exhaust and pointed to the stamp on it!, nice stop in Builth for a brew!

Been a busy few days. My daughter got married on Saturday at Romsey Register Office - only 4 people (including them) allowed in so mothers went in as witnesses and we could watch though the windows! Then a really small do in our garden just for close family - Pizzas from the local pub and home made pavlova and M&S cake Weather was lovely and I think they enjoyed the fact that it was so intimate (no pressure). This was supposed to be followed by a big do in Dublin but that has been postponed till next year. Excellent weekend

We were riding in that area today but didn't turn toward Builth think we headed to ward Newtown and that newish bypass. Ride slightly marred by the tar and gravel resurfacing in Shropshire on our favourite stretch to Craven Arms to Much Wenlock. Always 30 through the villages on that road peelers will speed check 3 villages on the bounce, so you might think you got lucky in the first then you open up and ping they get you in the second.
Put my bike up for sale... Reasons is why... I am hoping for a newer than 2014 1200S Red or 1200R (shiny black) over the winter... Sad
