  2. Awoke about 7:30 this morning feeling my age after the day on track yesterday so a gentle start with coffee in bed. Hooked the trailer up to the car and set off for the journey back home. The M1 followed by the A43, the M40 and finally the A34 is not the most inspiring of journeys but hey, that was the most direct route. Unloading the bike, putting everything that we took back in their rightful place, including a generator and gazebo and the trailer put back in the back garden, behind the shed. I’m bloody knackered all over again. Hell of a thunder storm and torrential rain for a couple of hours so now it’s humid again and I’m melting ...... again. Still another day tomorrow and who knows what it will bring. Whatever it is, I hope it won’t be too early though. Andy

  4. Found hotel near Burgos 30€ and it’s nice free breakfast too...cool at 16 or 17 outside throwing it down a lot of the way from Santander

  5. Did a few finishing touches and its pretty much done! Except for the wheels, tyres, frame & crank cases everything is now new...LOL Just in time for it to be tax & MOT exempt next year - not bad for a 40 yearold bike.

Still I will probably get hand guards, maybe change to twelve volts and I heard a rumor bigger fuel tanks are available... I guess you never really finish messing about with these old toys.

  11. Yeah I plan to ride it a fair bit. I went to the Lakes this week to start the running in process. Riding it is great fun. So light and revvy. Not enough power really, but after 8 hours I only stopped riding as it was getting dark.
