Thanks Jez I had a heart attack while I was at Donington on track on Monday. I've had a couple of stents fitted so should be ok with medication from now on.
I've been rushing around like a headless chicken this morning, organizing a tree surgeon for next week, loaded up a car on a trailer ready for a MOT tomorrow as no insurance inplace.Flint cottages and flowers for @Ducbird ,now i fancy a rideout but maybe a little too hot at the minute.
SWMBO is nothing if not bold..................the "feature wall" that you can see in the lounge is gold
Holy shit! I'm guessing (hoping) you weren't riding at the time. I honestly don't know a great deal about heart problems or their solutions, but I can tell you my little 86 yearold mom had a couple of big ops on her heart twenty plus years ago. Now its true she doesn't race around tracks on a Ducati, but she does do everything else and has huge energy for life and none of this has got in her way. She does however need an MOT done every two years or so! Take it easy sir, relax & get well. BTW I've heard it said that cake has medicinal qualities...
Sorry to hear you were unwell, but good that you are home so soon. ‘first dose of the 6 tablets I will be on for the rest of my life’ - I hope they gave you lots of them then!!!
Went to school with my youngest to get A level results. His heart set on going to Nottingham Uni, school predictions were very good and thought we were on our way to Nottingham. This crazy algorithm that has recalculated the schools marking has now taken that opportunity away, unless the school appeal is successful. It was crazy seeing so many ace students at a great school get totally shafted!!
Looked out the window and it's fucking raining, FFS if it ain't to hot it's raining, hopefully some thunder and lighting to cool things down a bit.
Not a lot of progress yesterday, builder had to come back and lower one of the steel ridge beams, 9mm too high at one end!!! Caught up a bit today though, still finishing around 2 pm as I seam to tire a bit in this heat, still working on my own, once I bolted the timber to the ridge I was away, timbers are 8x2 so take some cutting and lifting on your own. That's 3 half days. Steve
Been in Minneapolis for a couple of days checking on one of the project we have going on, at the airport to hop on a flight home.
