Had dinner cooked for me he’s been wandering around mumbling about black Angus , reverse sear and quality charcoal for some days now then he disappeared outside for ‘quite some time’ was worth it though
Must be some training day as well as lot of slow orange vests following each other that tarmac looks good
Got to Béjar just off the A66 Christ reminds me of Scottish corner now... looks a nice little town but bloody cold it was 37 in the shade near Seville now be about 20 ish what a shock when I jumped out the van, waiting for some food starving and got a a room 40€ with breakfast and it’s a nice place very busy outside but I’m inside I like to be warm now
Bought 2 keys from the bay of plenty - really nice with the Ducati logo - £6 for 2 inc. postage from the other side of the world - well chuffed with them, got Timpson's to cut them both for a tenner (they're not supposed to do 3rd party blanks), taken over 2 weeks to get here but saved a fortune.
Thing is earlier the fella on the gate with the clipboard asked if I was a rider and I was like shall I say yes then when he looks in the back of the van the old Honda Bol d or will be sat there... I just said no but I did think about it
The wife gave me a wrapped gift today, so I said " What's this Elsie?" "It's some camouflage clothing I bought you" "Wow, thanks - is it our wedding anniversary?" "No, I just don't want to see you anymore"
MOT on the zed today....one of those in the garage bike times when you think...."well, if im doing that, i may as well do that at the same time...." Probably not before i had an mot but i thought "yeah - i can do that..." i did, just.... Needed a front tyre change as mine was on the limit and i had the supercorsa to go on the front as the back i put on last month (eeking as much out of the front as possible...) - now i can change my own tyres i get that sort of flexibility.... While the wheel was out i thought....wont take much more to change the fork oil...so did that as well... Put a standard number plate and indicators on and just made it to the MOT place 10 mins late. Mine failed on the rear number plate light (working when i left the house but what can you do...) Went with my mate on his rsvr that i did the rear master cylinder job on....missed the rear brake light adjustment so his failed as well....pissed me off a bit as he put on the failure report (Dangerous, do not ride..!) fuck you mate...for literally 2 turns of a 10mm spanner....so we had to go back to our house, wire a new rear number plate light in mine and do 2 turns of a spanner on his, get back down there, get it checked and then wait for the MOT. Started at 7am got home and done by 2.30....what a polava...
this morning in bed, the wife asked me to pass her the lip-balm, and I gave her super-glue by mistake. She's still not talking to me.....
