  2. I look at the boat and think it’s big but it’s not even a speck compared to the sea .. bay of biscay is 6/7 miles deep in parts it’ll take 5 years to sink

  5. I actually walked back to the house to get my phone for a photo and it was still there when I returned but it must have sensed my presence and moved quite quickly when it decided to go.

  6. Today I have done 132 miles around West Yorkshire and Derbyshire on the V2.

I'm now sunning myself in the garden before I go out to eat in Manchester with a pal from Kent who's up north on business.

  12. Hopefully not, just have to wait and see. A&E here is full to bursting and they are seeing one patient/hour. Going to cost several quid for the car park and it just might lead me astray. The best kebab van in the area is on my way home :D Andy

  14. I just had a quick swot up on MCL. I do like a lamb kebab and one of my favourite vans is the one near Cranleigh on the road out of Guildford heading towards the Alfold Crossroads. Another good van I remember was in the centre of Peterfield but thinking about it, they are probably all good after a session.

  19. I have a stretched ligament so will be heading for the 'degenerative knee clinic' sometime in the future after I have been referred. Other than that, man up and get on with it you wus. The drawbacks of getting old. Andy
