  2. I've had three enquiries on Facebook wanting to buy my Roadtrip built Elsie - it's not for sale, but I previously stuck some pics onto the RD350LC Facebook page - funny old world innit ?

  9. got up for breakfast and discovered the 3yr old Bosch double electric oven is electrically dead - checked main fusebox and that's ok, so reckon it must be an internal fuse of some description

  12. Had a ride out around North Yorkshire and went to check out ‘Shed 30’ which is a new biker cafe which opened last month in Kirkbymoorside. They had a 2 stroke show on and a few race bikes there too.
Here’s a 114 BHP at the rear wheel Elsie that was rather pukka... he had spent £10k on the engine :eyes:

  14. 20200830_101249.jpg IMG-20200830-WA0001.jpeg 20200830_101211.jpg Spent the day out riding on the scrambler round West Yorkshire, Lancashire, North Yorkshire and Cumbria with around 30 members of the DOCGB including @bettes .

Did 214 miles all told on some fantastic roads, some which I'd never ridden before.

And though it was a tad cold this morning it warmed up during the day :upyeah:

    If Carlsberg made Sundays :)

  16. Finally had to give up on our tour to Vercour in 2 weeks time which I guess in our heart of hearts we knew would happen. Still, a quick reorganise and we are off up to Brompton near Northallerton for 4 nights to tour the Dales and the Moors for few days and get some fish and chips in Whitby. Not quite sure if I’m match fit enough for about 1200 miles in 5 days but will give it my best shot. Andy

  18. I just ordered my first load of logs.

  19. Today I "track prepped" my 900 so.
This involved removing some bits and bobs, taping up headlight, checking tings are tight, bleeding brakes and changing oil and filter..
I've done dozens of oil changes on various bikes over the years and never had a problem.
Some filters have a nut on the bottom which is handy and for the ones that don't I just tap a screw driver through and undo no prob.
    Until today.
What should have been a 10 min task turned into 2 hours of hell.
Tapped the driver through but when I went to undo it just tore the filter... tapped another hole futher round and same thing...
Panic time .. 2 track days and hotels booked...
For a while I forgot I had the skylift and correct kit for the ss and was trying to work out how to get the bike high enough to get under it and do what ever needed doing..
Anyhow, once on the skylift I managed to batter the fuck out of it and remove it.
    All hail the skylift!
And now I will be buying a tool for this job...
