  1. I hope that the bikes were there when you got home! How far away are the fires?

  2. Scary stuff.

  4. Every self confessed biker should ride a Ducati just for the experience in my book for the kooky mannerisms, but i've to say these bikes need overide fan switch for hot days out.

  5. Get your bloods tested, mine revealed I had high cholesterol.
With a decided change of diet I’ve lost a stone in weight and feel all the better for it.
    Now at 10 1/4 stone.
My wife thinks if I stop drinking I’ll lose more weight, but I’m not ready for that life changing decision just yet!

  9. Thanks Anthony, just the sort of encouragement I need, I didn’t get that tested but they did everything else including checking to see if I’d had a heart attack. Glad to find that I hadn’t, blood pressure was the lowest it’s ever been but it’s hard for them to extrapolate as it’s similar to a top-flight athlete!

  10. Good that you got checked out Chris as chest pain is not something to ignore.

  11. it's mainly stress isn't it? so many people on here living on a knife-edge or in a tinder box, just about surviving the "balancing act" and then something else comes along and adds to it. We all say, that's ok i can cope with that as well, I did it before, but you can easily fool yourself, well I can anyway.

  12. I so happy you kinda asked the question, I was too concerned at the answer should it have me asking what Harry was doing with the grass and his new hobby.

  13. Cycling is claimed to enlarge your heart and lower your heart rate and blood pressure , well unless you get frustrated by having to share a road with them whilst sat in your car/on your motorcycle then I think it's the inverse.

Good to hear you're not neglecting yourself bud.:upyeah:

  14. A young man asked his wife if she could make him happy and sad in one sentence.
She thought for a moment and said to him.
"Of all your friends you have the largest penis"

  15. Very pleased with Middle multi as appearance of screws plus Loctite etc confirm the low mileage, i.e. this has never been “down“

  16. At the marital home the lawn was huge and I spent many a summer Saturday or Sunday mowing and listening to bikes on the roads around as I emptied the grass box for the umpteenth time

Have been in rented for the last three years with a small lawn, takes longer to get the mover out than to actually mow. Next week I'm moving to my new house, not a blade of grass in sight, happy days.
(though there is an gravelled area out the front that I'm tempted to lay turf on... sucker for punishment).

EDIT to add Denso brush plate kit part No:-SND1307 (used on Kawasaki, Yamaha and looks like even a Triumph starter brushplate is adaptable)
