  1. Same here, sacked off red meat a while back.
Fish and veggie food, all homemade of course.
I will have chicken or turkey this Christmas, if Christmas isn’t cancelled!

  2. :upyeah:It’s 25 plus years since I had red meat and very rarely chicken or turkey...some excellent veggie food about ....my mate who is near on 60 was doing a job to an abattoir a not too many years ago, always a meat eater, was a builder a rough bugger now does commercial deliveries on a flatbed van no shrinking violet but what he witnessed that day turned him into an instant vegetarian....he wouldn’t even take a beef monster munch off me the other day despite them been veggie...he has told me a couple of things about the abattoir visit but only after drink and he cannot stay on the subject long it shocked him badly.

  3. I guess you make your own reasons for going down this route, must have been pretty horrific what he witnessed.

I feel much healthier and as a result have lost around 14 pounds.
    Bike goes faster now!

  6. Listed so we can’t have a sky dish :)

to be fair we only use Netflix for films anyway

virgin is on cable so top speeds and we get BT sport thrown in , Wi-fi phone for about £50 month

had both - not much in it tbh

thick walls so Wi-fi struggles but we have those plug in repeater things so all good :)

  7. Had the week off of work to repaint the kitchen and give it a spruce up.....started monday finished wednesday and then repair work thursday....first time in my life i hit a mains cable with the drill but a couple of inches away from a socket so no biggie (still got on my nerves though) - wife scoffed at me then leveled the playing field by knocking back a bottle of wine then lent on a shelf bringing that down with a load of pots and pans on it so thursday was spent fillering and repainting....bring it on all again next month when the sitting room gets the treatment...

  8. Making space by shuffling bikes. Now got 3 in the dining room so the R6 can go in the hall and the V4 can go in the utility ....... and the Supersport (when it arrives) now has a space in the garage. Having slept on it, I think the Diavel, however much loved it is, is going to find a new owner after all. Andy

  10. Lovely sunny day here so after long dog walk in woods out n three of my bikes back to back as I have been ignoring them for the past couple of weeks with a new arrival in the garage to fettle.
    1st the 748r, then Pani R then Daytona 765.
All very special and all different to each other.
Amazing how braking tech has improved over the years. The 758 brakes really show up the bikes age whereas the latter two bikes are one finger stoppie jobs.
Bit of a first world problem.

  11. I had an hour out on my 600ss yesterday (single disc). Got home and jumped on my 765RS to nip into town, looked a right knob at the end of the cul de sac as I came to an abrupt stop 10ft from the give way line and struggled to put my foot down in time!

  12. Started fabricating a dash for the Ghia but ran out of battery on the grinder and the neighbours were whining at the noise so fitted the Notek spotlights. Will wire them up when I rewire the car.

    bin for Ducbird.

  14. Had a ride to the spitfire and hurricane museum at Manston today. Unfortunately the museum is closed at the moment due to covid. Nice cafe though, sat outside in the sun having coffee and cake. Looking forward to a nice roast dinner later.

  16. i have too say of late with no prompting from any quarter i have considered stop being a corpse eater, i have hopefully stopped smoking /drinking alcohol with no ill effects and must truthfully say to no real advantages either apart from a little weight loss / and the obvious financial gain.

Could i go full vegan i don't know, because if i decided to stop being a corpse eater it would be no half measures like the booze and the smokes stop it dead.

Can you still have milk /butter if you choose to be a vegan ?

  17. I’m afraid so, you’ll have to stop wearing leather as well to truly qualify!
That’s a bit too far for me.
