  1. Been out for a 50 mile spin out to Loomies garage for some shopping(Wifes working from home today, good excuse to get out) on the 996 and it is COLD and windy and plenty of damp patches on the roads and morons in cars!!
Home now for a hot cup of tea to get the core back up to temperature:upyeah:.

  2. You have to be really wary of those damp patches on morons in cars. Best approached with a stout stick in hand!

  3. Went to Leeds to try on an Ixon airbag vest.

Tried it on with my Ducati jacket first and it was fine. Quite a nice fit.

Then I tried it with my Held Slade one piece. What a fucking palaver. Firstly the zip to the standard back protector was stuck. The guys in the store managed to oil the zip and eventually I managed to get it to work. Getting the back protector out was a bit of a faff but it came out ok. I then tried the suit on with the Ixon airbag vest. And whilst I could zip it up and I could move around in it ok it was incredibly snug. So much so that if I was wearing it and god forbid, it went off then I’m sure it would “implode” and break my ribs etc rather than fill out, as it should.

I decided to put back the original back protector in the suit. Nightmare. Took me well over 15 mins to fathom out how it went in, given the amount of material and flaps to tuck it in to. I’m sure the Yorkshire Vet had less bother with sticking his arm up a sheep’s fanny to get the lamb he was trying to birth in last nights episode.

If it’d worked with both the jacket and suit then I would have bought it. However for now I’ve left it to think it over.

I feel a tad disappointed tbh.

  4. Sat in what is now called Triumph West London (Jack Lilly’s to me) while the Striple has its annual service. Got soaked on the way over.
Whilst in picked up some service parts for my D675 project to sort over the winter.

  7. Oh the pain , just finished a little garden project , 3 raised frames for next spring, old scaffold boards, and re-cycled concrete blocks from a buddy down the road. Forearms are killing me.

  8. Is you’re one piece suit air bag compatible? It sounds like maybe it isn’t! You have to have one with all the appropriate stretch panels or you become joe pasquali!!

  9. They either have to be airbag compatible or slightly baggy. Mine is snug. :)

  10. There’s something scary in the woodshed!

  15. This was purchased on behalf of a friend , he came down to see it finished yesterday and we went for a cold ride stopping at Rykas and Newlands Corner . He’s delighted with it
We were joined by an aircooled MTS at Rykas just as we were leaving
