I understood the post as “planet Mot”, which in Yorkshire would be interpreted as Mot, or Mott, a slang word for a private ladies downstairs area, particularly a hairy one. But I’m happy to be corrected.
I got asked to hang ‘a picture’ this morning, to which I asked, ‘which one?’ ‘It’s on the top of the blanket box’ came the reply. I go into the room to be confronted by nine pictures on the blanket box, so to prove a point, I’ve hung eight and stood one up.

Booked an MoT slot for the Diavel, 10am tomorrow. Wimped out today as the weather is atrocious. Mild enough though to get in the garage and carry out a pre MoT check and give the bike a clean and everything works, as it should. Not sure what Carole will do with the Diavel when the new to her SS arrives in 2 weeks, although I have a feeling, after 8 years and 30,000 mostly happy miles, it might be looking for another owner. Got Repetitive strain injury today searching through second hand albums at a local record shop. It’s my birthday today and my other half has bought me a record player... We don’t have any records!
