  1. £108 @ Stroud Brewery! I am turning into a crippled alcoholic! Oh dear, what a pity, never mind!!!

And the bastids have reduced the free delivery threshold from £50 to £25, so I rebelled by ordring over£100

  2. just read of tuning expert Guy Croft passing, quite a few Italian car fans on here will either know of, or have met him. He made a real study of Lampredi's 4 cyl twin-cam, used in so many cars. A true character, RIP.

  4. do you know Perry, what has happened to me ? Just over a year ago now i was a 40 - 50 pints a week ale drinker for about 50 years and i just stopped no particular reason over than being overweight still am, but the thought of drinking a pint now just don't appeal to me. I had one tot of whiskey at Xmas with my lad and didn't really enjoy that.
Plus i stopped smoking as well....... am i or am i turning into a boring old fart ?

  5. I stick to quality stuff direct from the brewery and don't go overboard. The calories are allowed for in my diet. My physio, who's helping me with diet, said, "You like your beer don't you?" After having to climb over two huge boxes in the hall. So we kept it in as his technique is very much long-term. He recognised that there is no point in giving it up for 6 weeks and then just going back to what I was doing before.

But....with that much beer in the house, I have to be very self-disciplined!!!

  6. ah drinking indoors never bothered with that, my local pub shut because the landlord had given up , he was 70 ffs and struggling, so that helped me. I do miss the atmosphere of a pub though.

  7. Spent a couple of hours out on the Scrambler. It's now washed and put away till next time :)

  8. Sat on the tractor cutting grass for a few hours as the shoulder hurts again today, also priced up a petite plumbing job & viewed another motorcycle...as you do.

  16. It’s colour never changed, they just made my pupils massive, the photo was taken while my retina was been scanned.

Soz if it offended, I didn’t think it looked gruesome, just interesting.

Does anyone know about British bikes? I stuffed a bid in on eBay and forgot about it, I ‘won’ this today, always fancied a classic British bike to tinker with, never had one before.
