  14. Picked up my new (to me) car which ticked off another item on the bucket list, not particularly the model but the make.

  15. Eaten Scottish Egg for dinner again, that’ll teach me when asked by SigOth if I liked the Scottish Egg for Monday’s dinner.....:sob::sob:

  16. Received my cheap v4 plastic wings from chinaland! Absolutely brilliant! Exactly same as the carbon ones, bit heavier as they’re plastic but by the time they’re carbon wrapped or dipped you’d never know! And under a hundred pounds as opposed to 600! They’ll be the first things to break in a crash so no way I’m paying that!

  17. This morning I went start up my wifes car and the battery was flat i was surprised as its only done 27,000 miles which is low mileage for us , so needing to get to work I took her in my works car ,in the mean time she had organized the AA to come and have a look ,so by the time i got back to the house the AA man had text me to say he would be here in ten minuets well the guy came and said we needed a new battery ,and I said I hope you have a good quality one on board he yes we have a Bosch so £240 later and an hour it was all done , however ,whilst paying for the said battery we got talking and it turns out he was an ex racer and still has an 900 ss super light and i have just bought a racing ,track bike 996 s with carbon tank and all the light saving carbon on it ,on a whim ,and didnt know quite what to do with it ,anyway it was good to chat and possibly have an ally i said he could have a go ,he was thrilled ,his name is Alan hes possibly on this forum I dont know ,but very knowledgeable im still buying bits and pieces for next season and looking forward to going to brans hatch ,iIt will be my first time on a track with a track bike i used to do motorcross and carting ,but now im 62 ,bit late to be world champion but I would just like to see what its like ,been to so many event over the years ,anyway that made my day thanks Alan.
