My pal made new bushes for the jet car and fitted them ( pic is the old bush ) but the pin wouldn’t fit so a bit of head scratching and measuring of the pin revealed it had distorted by 1mm top to bottom so he’s going to make a new one.
Huge forces at work when you crash at 200mph +

 

that bush don't look like its located that well in its housing ?

 

Everything got knocked about in the crash. If you watch the video at 52 seconds the front wheels are all over the place. The whole car is going to be measured by Bill Smith who recovered and restored Bluebird when we can get it up to his workshop but getting it rolling is a priority now as it’s outstayed it’s welcome at the garage where it’s stored tbh.

Just saw an aborted burglary at a guess, thought I was on a James Bond set for 30 seconds.
