I'd to do some work today by installing a clients toilet & investigate a leaking basin bottle trap.With two A4 sheets of instructions i'm not sure how the layman works out what's what as clear as mud with all the wrong information.
Completed first half marathon on the indoor rower. Planet Rock packed in after 10 minutes so it was a long row.
Finally slapping some paint on after much work! Walls hacked off,treated,studwork up,boarded and skimmed,first fix electrics ,complete heating system! Phew!
Haha, yes definitely old school! It was derelict pretty much! Hadn’t been lived in for 15 years! All the oak lintels were rotten, no heating! Was truly in a terrible state but looking ok now! Or will be in about another week!
Took my car for a service. Left it with them to walk around and ended up doing about 14 miles in the freezing cold fog. Couldn’t do the tracking as the arms were seized annoyingly, and the DCT gearbox sump was leaking so that was an extra £559 on an already big bill I hate owning a nice car.
Frustratingly being dragged, kicking and screaming into the 21st century My credit card provider has announced that they are closing their on-line card management service and transferring it to a bloody App. Fell at the second hurdle because you can only run the App on one device, no opportunity for back up access when the inevitable happens and your device is reluctant to play ball. Still, that’s progress for you ........ not. Andy
