  1. Day goes from bad to worse, received a tax assessment for the year 19/20 in the post and despite using verified, actual figures for pension income in my tax return, HMRC have invented a number that seems to suit them better than the figure DWP gave them. Can I get to talk to someone, phone and web chat ? Can I f....k. Wasted too many hours of my life today, I feel beer o’clock is going to be a tad early this evening. Andy

  2. Is cv19 being used as an excuse so that you can’t speak to anyone?

  3. No idea Tel, currently only had a computer generated voice telling how busy people are and as some are working from home, I shouldn't be upset by unusual noises. WTF ? Andy

  5. Both you and El Tel are ruthless with your bargaining tactics!
Don’t you know insurance employees are people too with families to feed?

I’m surprised you can sleep at night.

  8. Ruthless!

  9. No that's out of my comfort zone. I might try some of those really thin worktops on my next project but will need to look into how you joint them.

  10. I've seen them use waterglass, but I'm not sure how it is used. It seems it is only part of the solution.

  11. They are a real bastard to cut, ruins your tools. The ones I did were square edge so didn't need a masons mitre, and glued with epoxy resin. I won't do them again
