Just donated to: http://macari-foundation.co.uk/support-us/ This man does top work - and when he was manager of Swindon Town FC, he picked up my father's bicycle after my late father fell off and had to go to hospital. He took the bike home to my late mother. Neither knew who Lou Macari was! I had to explain that my Dad had just been helped by on of the most famous footballers of the last half of the century!
Our Blenhim Palace, lit, Christmas woodland walk has been cancelled at the very last moment due to torrential rain resulting in local flooding Spoke to landlord of our local pub and he is very kindly going to find a table for 2 for a quiet drink and meal instead . It will be the last time for a while as Hampshire joins the unclean hoards in Tier 4 on boxing day . Sod the real world, I'm going to make the most of my little bubble and batten down the hatches intil the new year. For those that can, I hope you and yours have an enjoyable festive period, for those that cannot, I wish better for you yours. Andy
A friend donated this old faded red carpet for another bike to sit on,a little bit more installation protection from the concrete floor over the winter months.
You’ll want to watch that doesn’t create condensation Instead of it insulating the floor you could end up with one very soggy and damp garage.
Loosing the battle to deliver medical aid for Covid patients before they have to go to hospital. London is now like a war zone in medical terms. Any doubters please feel free to follow me around for a day. This wave is far more severe than before, making more people seek hospital help much earlier than before. Roll on tomorrow, the good bit is I get to ride a lot in lockdown.
Couldn't agree more, a friend lost his dad a couple of days ago and his sister and her husband are in hospital now and he has covid but is at home, not good times for some, let's all hope it ends very soon.
It's a very old brick built garage with air blocks up top ( look at the brick bond style ) so no DPC inplay,so not good but very secure unlike the up & over doors these days.
So what gives with the children’s toy and duvet? It all looks a bit sinister, you’ll be fixing old mattresses to the walls next!
Pooh bear has been around for a while now,not mine and the duvet is many cotton dust sheets for the motorcycle. As for the old mattress that's for scrolling to the next flimimg set.
That sounds like a truly awful situation yet your assistance and help renews my faith in the good nature of people and community. You should be very proud of yourself Michel.
