Looks like it’s a snow day here as well

 

Fought and lost with a flippin' Ford stretchy alternator/aircon/steering pump belt Carole's Ford Focus 1.6 Zetec alternator died down in Penarth, South Wales. It's 17 years old so no real surprise. Picked up a new one local and drove the 120 miles down to her. A quick check, yep, no output, not 1 measley volt. Got the old one off, no problem, fitted the new one and ....... where is the belt tensioner ? Finally found out it doesn't have one, the belt is stretchy. Oh no it fffffffecking isn't. Driving back home tonight to pick up a new belt and some expensive Ford tool in the morning and coming back down to Penarth on Sunday for another 3 rounds. Not a happy chappy, still earned myself a few brownie points and will be bought beer later so not a total loss Andy

 

That's frustrating when working away from home,stiil maybe a weekend bag is required,stay & watch the rugby.
