  1. My condolences:heart:, you look like very young waiters in those dickie bows.

    • Thanks Thanks x 1
  2. @Carr01 Perhaps that space is reserved for another motorcycle / workbench or a safe for all the cash.

  3. I ‘may’ be the one in the middle wearing The long dress-I still have it albeit I don’t fit into it any more.....

  4. Nothing wrong with a bit of cross dressing on the odd drunken night out.;):upyeah:

  5. Sorry for your loss.

  9. Started a job today which another decorator started last November,
The problem was he fell of his ladder o_O whilst painting the stairwell and damaged his shoulder quite bad and had an Ambulance and a helicopter at the job, but as I'm finishing the job up my ladder i can see his ladder marks/scrapes in the walls and were his paint hit/splashed all over, must admit it put the Willys up me a bit :sweat:and made me double check things a few times.

  15. Yes please do check one of my friends dad fell off his ladder painting he is still with us but sustained life limiting injuries and has no recollection of anyone and is cared for away from home

  16. That’s a sad thing to happen, I always stake the bottom of the ladder when on grass with a two foot hooked crowbar and were possible put my van up against the bottom of the ladder on driveways.

  17. It is, I always secure ladders and ensure my steps are level whenever I use them I’d hate to think of the consequences should I fall even from a modest height.

  18. I think the safety rules are
4 Meters up = 1mtr out from the wall.

  19. Done some ironing and made lunch. May go for a walk later.

  20. Not sure on the absolute ratio, I just ensure it doesn’t look too shallow. As an aside many moons ago I had to erect some signage on a Petrol station canopy. The cashier told me the painter the previous week had his ladders swept from under him by a car coming in for fuel. He managed to grasp hold of the canopy luckily for him.
