Been fitting a replacement DSG86 generator to one of our UPS after the last one caught fire!

 

Have trying to sort out a new GPS for the camper van ahead of being allowed to roam.

 

If anyone is ordering from Nitron they quoted me 4 to 5 weeks... Turned up in 2....tvt Pro goodness...

 

Swapped these old 240volt fittings over for four new ones today and the quality was far better back in the eighties than nowdays.

 

Day off (apart from the Teams meeting at lunchtime) so popped down to the sea to take some photos of posts....

 

I replaced 6 ceiling lights in my bathroom for LED sealed units a few months back. £16 delivered, use almost no power, bright as the sun. Now the old ones were heavier!

Ate all 4 Apple Puff Pastry cakes because they were reduced to 41 pence. they weighed in at 355 Calories each and so I will be cycling for a few miles after this film finishes. (The Rainmaker, seen it before but 70% forgotten, co-starring Claire Danes).

 

Lighting technology is changing all the time in and out of the house / workplace for the better, but maybe just not the quality of the fitments / electrical connections.

 

Finished my decking, just need to decide on a colour, although I like it’s colour now but it’ll need protecting.

 

Sorted out a new bike and started looking for bits on eBay.

 

Now that would look great with a Ducati relaxing in the sunshine.

 

Helped out some of our glazing guys today at Broadstairs college. Bit wobbly stepping into the cage on the top floor. I'm 47 and was humping and bumping with two 25 year old lads. I'm knackered now and looking forward to dinner and not a lot else. One of them was going out for a run when he got in and the other was going to bang his Mrs all night. I officially feel old now
