IVA test today, not passed but only on a few minor items. The testers commented on the build quality and presentation Mechanical, electrical, brakes and emissions all ok. Hopefully in to test the outstanding items next week, will keep you posted. On the positive the Testers were really helpful and friendly. First drive, drives a treat no knocks groans or creaks. have not opened it up yet will wait until fully legal. corners flat and sticks to the road in corners, the steering is very precise, you have to be on it all the time. A slight turn of the wheel and its off in that direction, great fun to drive cant wait for the good weather.
Cleaned/vacuumed the house so I can get out tomorrow and Thursday on the bikes, and sat in the sunshine in the garden
Sat in the garden in the sun My leg was being tickled and I had four wasps buzzing around and I came in
I've been planning some trips away in this country/eire on the bike/s as and when we get back to some kind of normality. So far I've got Ireland trip end of June Northumberland mid/end July Scotland early August Mid Wales early September And possibly Devon and Cornwall or Hampshire/Surrey at the end of September/October Just need these restrictions to be lifted
Just received an email/renewal notice from BeMoto for insurance on both bikes.............£31 cheaper than last year
Renewed the insurance to both bikes, having made a couple of minor amendments, and done efficiently and without fuss and importantly without any change to the price. And to celebrate I went out on the Scrambler and did 40 brisk miles around the country lanes which was lovely
5th week in Germany, and I think the air quality on site is more dangerous than what’s being reported on the news. This is after a day. Either that or I’m talking too much sh*t.
Preparing for the highlight of the month so far, car and trailer all loaded for my appointment at the local refuse/recycling centre. Also spent an hour this morning helping my neighbour cut back his overgrown boundary hedge. Life is just so exciting . Andy

Got a new toy to play on, long term loan but I’ll probably buy it off him when I have the cash. It’s so cool tbh, I don’t think they are heavy and slow, it handles well, fuels absolutely perfectly and tbh leaves you wondering quite what we are all spending all this money on new bikes (granted track is a different matter)
Worked all day organising my latest build project, which happens to be ripping the back off my own house and putting a big extension on. Much Jack hammering and destruction from the guys. Holes in the back of the house, no ceiling or floor in the back room. It’s been going on a few weeks now. 6.30 took the wife’s car to Halfords to get a new brake light. On the way, concluded I was too wiped to do it at that time and for a fiver a very helpful young Asian lad fitted it in no time, not the incompetence I was expecting at all, he was excellent. 10% off with my Halfords card and I was on my way. Result. Tomorrow my kitchen comes out and meets the skip. Shame, it’s given us great service but it’s got to be done. My guys love destruction anyway.
Not a dig at you mate, but why is it anytime someone tells a story involving anyone other than a white/English male/female people feel the need to mention race? If it was a white lad would you have stated that? Im not saying there’s anything remotely racist intended but I just don’t see why it even needs saying, adds nothing to a story.
