  6. What'll it be then, another Ducati or something else?

  7. Well earlier today it was blue skies and a bit cold when we went for a walk. Still it was very nice :)

But now it’s snowing. Big, fat flakes of snow. And it’s currently sticking.

Doesn’t look like we’ve shaken winter off yet :/

  8. Terry? what flavour excrement?

  9. Don’t think I can get another bike past SWMBO, though there’s room enough for another two :p

  10. Spent most of the day tidying the back garden in preparation for rotavating. Also tidied the shed and it’s amazing what you find, stuff that I have been looking for, for a long time :joy: Had to pop out to look for the compost bin lower door that I thought I’d lost between the garden centre and the house yesterday. No luck so cracked on and was just locking up the shed when I saw it lurking in the undergrowth, where it has obviously blown to overnight. Also managed to barter a slab of bog roll for a pound of home cured streaky bacon and a pot of freshly made spicy Kimchi. I know what is for tea tonight :D It’s been snowing on and off since about 3pm but not hard enough to lay ...... just yet. Happy evening people, another day to enjoy tomorrow. Andy

  11. I was a witness for the plaintiff in a court case for the second time today, but you guess it as it was adjourned again: unamused:, the scales of justice are tipped in favour of the undesirables in society.Anyway the bonus was i discovered that old market town called Farnham.

  12. Why was it adjourned?

  13. Back in the last century I had a boss that lived in Farnham. Although he was extremely intelligent (or so his two oxbridge degrees would have you believe), in the real world he was a humongous self serving tit.

After several months of clashing with him over strategy (his was theoretical and mine was based on the real world) I took great pleasure walking out of an important meeting with him in head office in Swindon and driving home immediately. That evening I got a call from the company’s MD asking why I’d walked out of such an important meeting. I let rip about the idiot and told him to double check his references on his CV (I’d found out stuff about him from contacts I had in the trade).

The following day I ripped his head off again when I handed in my notice and giving him 2 days notice of leaving the company (I’d already lined up my next position ;))

He didn’t last much longer than me after that. Which was nice :)

  14. The defence sent a email or letter into the court for it tobe adjourned ( we've not seen sight of this letter and the contents as yet ) but the Plantiff was not notified by the court or the defence in this matter regarding this change, so another wasted exercise for me and them......round three in what six weeks time.

  15. Nothing like getting things off your chest is there.:upyeah:

  16. Looks lovely and warm there today, unlike the icy wintry arctic blasts us northerners are enjoying!

  17. I’m thinking that’s a library picture?

  18. You could have just posted I had an old boss that lived in Farnham and he was a pillock.

  19. “I had an old boss that lived in Farnham” sounds like the opening line of a Limerick
