  3. I seem to have been too energetic today. I filled 4 builder's bags, each with about 25kg to 30kg of green, garden waste ready for the dump but because I had my 1 permitted visit per week yesterday, I'm going to have to wait until next week, if I can book a slot :( I'm also ready to start rotavating and mini diggering but the local machine hire company don't have either machine available for about 4 weeks :astonished: Phoned around a bit and the next soonest is June  Oh well, I'm just going to have to go out on the bike instead :D I do have something to look foward to for the weekend, we are going to visit the RHS gardens at Wisley. Andy

  7. This morning I cleaned the house, top to bottom whilst SWMBO has gone shopping in Leeds for the day. The brownie points gained today will mean I can spend the next 4 days out on my bikes :)

Then this afternoon I had a follow up zoom call to the above. Apparently I’m definitely on the shortlist. Seemed to go well so I’ll just wait and see where it goes, if it goes at all. :)

  8. We’ve got a new RHS garden just opening up not far from us in Salford.
Was meant to be open last year but got postponed to this.
    Looking forward to visiting.

  11. Renewed the V4 insurance, £325 fully comp at 32, still baffles me people say they struggle to insure them to be honest.

  12. Decking jet washed and oiled up-now as slick as a Roman slick thing can be.

  13. I managed to secure some free scaffholding & secondhand timber today for another little project. Also a car turned upside down on the Pilgrims way junction in Kent today....hopefully they're all ok with a free ride in a helicopter. It's a good job that i can reverse a trailer or i would have been snookered.

  14. The perfect day for it but those knees might suffer tomorrow a little bit.

  15. My knee is suffering right now :sob: Came in for a cup of coffee about 3, backed towards the sofa and as I bent at the knees to sit, experienced a scream inducing tearing pain above the left knee cap. Had an ice pack on it on and off for about 4 hours with no improvement. Can weight bear but not bend under load. Will have to see what the morning brings. Andy
