  9. Set up old work laptop for use in garage. Set up Rapidbike JPDiag, worksop manuals and all other bike related stuff. Plugged into my 1299 and recovered the maps. (previous ex work laptop just gave up and died)

Discovered I'd unplugged my 916 from the trickle at some point. EEK! Hopefully the opti twin is recovering battery and it isnt destroyed. My 916 eats batteries like sweets.

Rain stopped play on Sat, which is just as well as 916 had flat battery. New belts arriving on Wed from Exact (Stu), so these will be my first belt changes. Doesnt look that tricky. Got the correct tools. May change bearings in adj pulleys whilst there. 32x12x10 bearings look easy enough to source. Not sure about fixed pulley bearings if they are the same. If so, will do those too. Then I shall be creating shelving for storage to pull the bike down to get frame resprayed. So on lookout to pinch some scaffold boards and buy some 2prong shelf strips and brackets.

Had a few teething problems causing anxiety and disappointment the last week, thank goodness for one of my kind colleagues changing a shift at the last minute who is in my bubble so I can work this week.
