  1. It’ll be great the Sun will shine and the Seagulls will get fat mugging tourists for ice cream and chips.

    Enjoy your break :)

  3. You not going to bother cleaning it up a little with an oily rag bud or you prefer the natural patina?

  9. Had been having a reasonable day until I drove past a fatal RTC on the M3 half an hour ago. Body of a motorcyclist under a blanket, 30 feet away from a very bent bike. Feeling subdued now and thinking of the family who won’t be seeing their loved one later today :( Rest in peace. Andy

  10. No amount of words spoken from the English language can ease their pain this weekend, makes you stop and think for a few moments about life doesn't it.

  11. Arrived in Axbridge Somerset after a 6 hour drive in heavy rain.
Struggled to find a space big enough for the van in the old market square and in doing so reversed io to a steel post popping the bumper in!

    Good start!

  12. Yesterday we arrived in Helensburgh after a 5 hour drive in heavy rain. It finally stopped around 2.30pm just in time for us to go and collect our grandsons from school, who we’d not seen for 18 months.

It was an absolute joy to see their faces as they ran towards us when they realised we were there to meet them :)

  13. Whats going on in Axbridge? Six hours in a monsoon means its something important!

  14. O
    On route to Cornwall.
The M5 was atrocious, accident after accident.

  15. Driving around Stoke was atrocious too yesterday. Deluges of rain combined with endless road works...

Enjoy some freshly baked Saffron cake.

  16. It's easy done as a friend hit a bus stop turning around in the middle of the road when visting the Landrover factory up in Solihull.

  17. Was that sue to the rain? Or just bad driving?

Driving standards were bad but seem worse after lockdown:thinkingface:

  18. This is very true,...I’ve had a few near misses lately with inattentive car drivers pulling out or turning in front of me!

Let’s face it, the drivers who were crap before lockdown are now still crap but also out of practice :astonished: !!

Everyone be extra careful out there please, they’re all out to kill you!

  19. Lovely place to visit briefly, used to be The Old Angel in the High Street I hope it’s still called that.
    Sorry about your bumper Anthony.

  20. Driving standards are appalling
I stop at a red light today and a scaffold lorry just carried on through just missing a car about to turn right. It was the cars right of way. Another we were all sat at red lights last week and the car in the middle just took off again avoiding the traffic going through a green light
Every day there is an accident here
